King Khufu Axis or Road
The Giza Vision 2030, which was prepared by Cube Company in 2010 for the Ministry of Housing and the General Authority for Urban Planning, depends on restoring civilized life to archaeological and historical areas and investing their existence for the benefit of citizens by re-planning unplanned and random areas in a manner befitting the dignity of the Egyptian citizen and providing all necessary services such as schools, hospitals, clubs, commercial and cultural services and others, while developing the infrastructure, roads and transportation in those areas
King Khufu Axis is one of these giant projects to develop Cairo. The main title of this great dream is that in 2030 we will be able to clearly see the immortal pyramids from Sphinx Square in Mohandessin from a distance of 10 km. The project will serve “the monorail train that will connect Sphinx Square in Mohandessin to the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, and it will thus be one of the largest roads in the world, even the greatest, due to its historical and miraculous grandeur with the pyramids in front of it
The axis passes through unplanned areas that suffer from a lack of the necessary services to provide the required quality of life For its residents, such as the Bulaq Al-Dakrour area, Saft El-Laban and some areas of the pyramids, and implementing such a development axis will work to develop and advance not only those areas but Giza as a whole
: It was proposed within a vision and re-planning to upgrade Giza and the area surrounding the pyramids, the goals of which are summarized in
Investing in the components of the place as a global tourist and entertainment attraction ◼
Opening a developmental and visual traffic axis for the pyramids area to be a global commercial and tourist axis ◼
Linking the Pyramids Plateau to the Grand Egyptian Museum and developing the area surrounding the Pyramids Plateau to become an open museum for the whole world ◼

In 2008, some studies and surveys and population surveys were conducted for the axis path by experts from the Urban Planning Authority at the Ministry of Housing, and the removal areas were determined along the axis path, and they were estimated at about 38,500 thousand housing units. The vision proposed alternatives for the affected citizens, which were as follows:
Financial compensation at the market price for the housing unit and land ◼
Receiving an alternative unit or land in one of the newly planned areas ◼
Moving to temporary housing provided by the state until the project is implemented and receiving alternative units in the same area ◼
The cost of the project was estimated at a total length of 8 km, including all compensation, facilities and constructions related to the project, at approximately 80 billion Egyptian pounds. In the event that the state adopts the proposed vision, detailed plans and demographic, social, environmental, tourism, economic and other studies will be made for all proposed projects through specialized expertise houses.
We believe that the vision of the King Khufu axis projects will restore dignity to the descendants and wealth of the king and may compete with the city of Giza is the largest tourist city in the world in light of the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum. The project may contribute to increasing the number of international tourists several times the current number.
A dream that has been delayed for a long time, but we hope that it will be achieved, making it one of the greatest streets in the world due to its historical and miraculous grandeur.
